Anupam Kher purchased office space on the 24th
level of the Parinee 1 tower in Mumbai's Andheri district.
Anupam Kher, a Bollywood actor, purchased a
commercial office property in Andheri near Mumbai for ₹3.88 crore, according to
paperwork obtained by FloorTap.com.
The office space measures 887 square feet with RERA
carpet and is located on the 24th level of the Parinee 1 tower.
The Bollywood star paid ₹23.3 lakh in stamp duty
for the purchase, which was executed on September 3. The condo comes with one
parking space.
The actor and developer could not be reached.
Other Bollywood actors have bought commercial real
estate.
Kangana Ranaut, a BJP MP and Bollywood actor,
bought an office space in Mumbai's Andheri district for ₹1.56 crore, according
to property registration documents obtained by Propstack.
The 407 sq ft unit, located on the 19th floor of
Arch One, was purchased for ₹38,391 per sq ft on carpet, according to papers.
Karishma Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, and Amitabh Bachchan
have all bought commercial buildings to make substantial rental income. Office
properties frequently yield a larger return on investment than residential
properties.
Last year, Karishma, Kareena, and their mother
Babita Kapoor rented a showroom space in Bandra West, Mumbai, for ₹6 lakh per
month to a jewellery firm, according to Propstack documents. The lease is for
49 months.
Propstack obtained paperwork revealing that Ajay
Devgn leased an office space in Andheri West, Mumbai, for five years at a
monthly cost of ₹9 lakh.
Amitabh Bachchan purchased four commercial
apartments in Oshiwara for roughly ₹7 crore apiece last year and rented them
for an annual consideration of ₹2.07 crore.
In addition to Bachchan, actors Kartik Aryan, Manoj
Bajpayee, Sarah Ali Khan, and his wife Kajol purchased office space in the
Lotus Signature Tower in Andheri West last year.
Propstack previously reported that Sonu Nigam paid ₹11.37 crore for two commercial properties in Andheri, totalling 5547 sq ft.
