CII Hosts a Real Estate Conference

A wide range of eminent speakers, thought leaders, and specialists offered their experiences and views during the conference.

The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and the Confederation of Indian Industry-Northern Region (CII-NR) have announced their partnership, "RealEstate360."

Taking place in the CII Northern Region Headquarters in Chandigarh, this premier event provided a forum with the goal of "fostering innovation, encouraging investment, and inspiring sustainable growth" in the real estate industry.

The honoree was Dr. Amarpal Singh, CEO of the Punjab Energy Development Authority (PEDA). The aim of the CII and IGBC was reflected in this year's RealEstate360 theme, "Innovate, Invest, and Inspire."

"In India, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities?Chandigarh and the Tricity, for example?are starting to emerge as the hub for real estate development. These cities offer affordability, a better lifestyle, and accessibility to important job centres. Their growth is driven by urbanisation, growing incomes, and improved infrastructure. These cities have a bright future ahead of them as they transform the real estate landscape in India, said Ashwinder R. Singh, CEO of Bhartiya Urban's residential division and co-chairman of the CII NR Committee on Real Estate.
