According to DDA, they will be part of a bigger housing program in which the
agency would sell up to 40,000 flats to buyers in various categories, including
economically disadvantaged and low-income individuals.
The Delhi Development
Authority (DDA) would provide 173 luxury flats in various areas of Dwarka, a
suburb in the national capital's southwest, as part of its Dwarka Housing
Scheme 2024, according to officials familiar with the matter.
They stated that the initial
price for these flats will be Rs 1.28 crore and will increase to Rs 2.5 crore.
This housing plan will serve the middle-income group (MIG) and high-income
group (HIG) segments of homebuyers.
These flats will be
distributed through an e-auction. The date and time of registration for the scheme
and e-auction will be announced shortly.
According to the DDA, the
premium flats initiative would be part of a bigger plan in which the capital's
development agency will offer up to 40,000 flats, including housing units for
the economically weaker section (EWS) and lower-income group (LIG).
"Under the DDA Dwarka
Housing Scheme 2024, MIG and HIG category flats will be offered in Dwarka's
Sectors 14, 16B, and 19B via e-auction. This will give folks the opportunity to
acquire a home in Dwarka's premium neighbourhood.
According to the
authorities, the project offers approximately 173 units with a starting price
of Rs 128 lakh.
The proposal to launch these
initiatives was authorised during a DDA board meeting on August 6. HIG and MIG
apartments will be sold through an e-auction, while LIG and EWS flats will be
distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, according to officials.
Affordable housing schemes
Aside from the Dwarka
Housing Scheme, the Authority has also authorised the DDA Sasta Ghar Housing
Scheme 2024 to meet affordable housing needs.
LIG and EWS flats would be
provided at subsidised prices in Ramgarh Colony (northeast Delhi), Siraspur
(northwest), Loknayakpuram (west), Rohini (west), and Narela (north) on a
first-come, first-served basis. In this initiative, approximately 34,000 units
will be sold, with prices starting at around Rs 11.5 lakh.
Similarly, DDA has placed up
for sale around 5,400 flats under its General Housing Scheme 2024, which will
cater to categories like as MIG, LIG, and EWS.
These flats will be
accessible in areas such as Jasola (south), Loknayakpuram, and Narela at 2023
pricing with no price increases. The starting price for homes under this scheme
will be roughly Rs 29 lakh.
