Officials estimate that the land in 12 locations
across eight villages in Noida is worth ₹236.80 crore at current market
rates.
NOIDA: During its month-long battle against illegal
colonizers, the Noida government released at least 56,885 square meters of
land, according to officials.
The land, spread in 12 sites across eight villages,
is valued at ₹236.80 crore based on current market pricing.
Lokesh M, the chief executive officer of the Noida
authority, has directed the land and civil departments to work together to take
effective action against those who are grabbing government land, carving out
unauthorized housing or commercial projects, and luring innocent buyers by
selling them cheap plots.
Our united teams conducted the drives and
dismantled the unlawful constructions constructed in our notified area.
"Our action against unauthorized structures will continue," the CEO stated.
The trip began on March 12 and lasted until April
13. The authority's joint teams carried out the operations in villages such as
Sadarpur, Salarpur, Sorkha Jahidabad, Mamura, Gulavali, Assadullapur,
Moyiyapur, and Garhi Samastipur.
There were 17 khasra numbers (land record numbers) in which the authority released the land on which the land mafia was selling residential or commercial plots without the authority's permission. According to the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Act of 1976, no person or corporation may carve out plots or develop any type of building without first getting the map approved, said a Noida authority official who was not authorized to speak with the media.
According to the guidelines, the administration has
notified the land located in the villages for a planned development in Noida.
Officials further stated that no individual or company may begin construction
in this notified area unless the building map has been authorized and
authorization to build has been granted.
Building a project without map approval or
permission is prohibited. We continue to issue public announcements, urging the
general public not to buy plots in these illegal enterprises since the authorities
will demolish them, the source stated.
