YEIDA will create a new residential area close to Noida Airport.

According to the sources, the new residential area would probably be called Sector 5 and will be situated next to the proposed Noida International Airport. It is anticipated that around 1100 hectares of land will be purchased for this use.

According to persons with knowledge of the development, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) plans to build a new residential area next to the planned Jewar airport in light of the high level of buyer interest.

The YEIDA added that they have created a plan to purchase 1,100 hectares of property for this purpose and will submit it to the district administration shortly.

The place and the terminology

According to the sources, the new residential area would probably be called Sector 5 and will be situated next to the proposed Noida International Airport. The authority's land department has been directed to start making the required arrangements.

The acquisition of 1,100 hectares of land will probably start in the near future and be finished by December 2023 or January 2024. One of the people stated that after the site is turned over to the authorities, residential plots, and group housing societies will be created as part of the residential sector development process.

Plans have also been established by YEIDA to establish direct connectivity via this new sector between the Yamuna Expressway and the Chola Railway Station in the Bulandshahr district.
