Delhi-NCR: For over 69 crore, former India opener
Shikhar Dhawan acquired an opulent flat at DLF's Gurugram, The Dahlias real
estate development.
According to records obtained by real estate data
analytics company CRE Matrix, former India opener Shikhar Dhawan paid more than
69 crore for a magnificent home in the DLF project in Gurugram called The
Dahlias.
Based on the documents, the total cost, including
stamp duty, is 68.89 crore, while the cost of the flat is 65.61 crore.
For the property in DLF's The Dahlias in Sector 54,
Golf Course Road, Gurgaon, the former cricket player paid stamp duty of 3.24
crore, according to the sale records.
The document states that on February 4, 2025, the
transaction was registered.
"Gabbar," also known as cricket sensation
Shikhar Dhawan, is an Indian. A 6,040-square-foot apartment with five parking
spaces was just acquired by him. According to official documentation, the cost
is ₹1.08 lakh per square foot.
Dhawan declared in August 2024 that he will stop
participating in any cricket-related activity.
Enquiries have been sent to the developer. A
comment from the former cricket player could not be obtained.
How can I locate the Dahlias?
The Dahlias, DLF's latest project, sold 173
ultra-luxury flats for ₹11,816 crore in nine weeks, according to a report
earlier this year. This resulted from considerable demand from extremely rich
people, such as top CEOs and non-resident Indians.
"The project, which consists of bare-shell
residences, should be finished in four years," said Aakash Ohri, joint
managing director of DLF's Home Developers, in an interview with HT.com on
January 27.
For those who are unaware, in over ten years, its
project Camellias achieved a similar degree of success. The Dahlias will be
presented in mid-2025 and will be more luxurious than the Camellias, he said.
Well, Ohri had previously informed HT.com that the
ultra-luxury apartments range in size from about 10,000 square feet to 19,000
square feet for penthouses.
Ohri has recommended features including expansive outside decks that increase the width of each home, a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor living spaces, and wide 4-meter floor-to-ceiling heights.
