Gulshan Group would spend ₹1,000 crore to create the tallest Taj hotel and branded serviced flats in Noida

Gulshan Group is working with Tata Group's IHCL to build a 57-story Taj hotel and branded serviced apartments. They are putting in ₹1,000 crore.

The Gulshan Group, a real estate developer based in Noida, has teamed up with Tata Group-owned Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) to put ₹1,000 crore into building the tallest Taj Hotel in India and Taj-branded serviced apartments in Noida. The project is estimated to bring in about ₹2,000 crore in total income.

The construction, which will be called "Skyscape," is in Sector 129 along the Noida Expressway and should be done in the next five years. The company's top officials indicated that the Taj-branded serviced flats will cover about 7,500 square feet.

The 57-story building will have both a hotel and branded flats. There will be a Taj hotel with 150 rooms and 74 Taj-branded serviced apartments. They indicated that construction has begun and that the project should be finished in five years.

They added that the project is being built on a 10,500-square-meter piece of land that was bought in 2021 and would be paid for with money that the company has saved, money that has been collected from sales, and loans from banks.

This will be the highest Taj Hotel in India and the first one in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. They further added that this is the second residential project in the country with the Taj name, after Chennai.

The company didn't say how much the serviced apartments cost.

Gulshan's concept for bringing Taj to Noida is our way of creating the city's luxury story and giving it an address that will be remembered for years to come. Gulshan Nagpal, chairman of the Gulshan Group, said, "We are investing ₹1,000 crore to create not only an iconic development, but also one of India's most unique branded serviced apartment offerings." He also said that the project is estimated to bring in about ₹2,000 crore in total income.

He noted that the group wants to work with Taj on similar serviced apartment projects in other small markets.

"This project is our statement to the industry," said Yukti Nagpal, director of the Gulshan Group. "We are reimagining luxury beyond traditional boundaries by mixing the glamour of hospitality with the huge scale of real estate." We at Gulshan Group are guided by trust, design integrity, and a long-term vision. We are working with Taj to imagine what we think will be India's tallest Taj, a world-class address that will become one of the most famous places in the country.

Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL, said, "India is one of the top five economies in the world, and as more people become wealthy, they want luxury goods and services, including branded homes in cities." Today, the opening of this historic Taj hotel and branded homes will establish a new standard for luxury in the National Capital Region. We're really happy to move forward with this cooperation with the Gulshan Group.

This is Taj's second branded home, after Chennai. This is the first of its kind in terms of height and class. He remarked, "What we started in Chennai is finally coming to North India with branded residences." He also said, "Noida was the only place that was missing."

There will be two flats on each floor, and the units will be on floors 17 to 56. There will only be one penthouse on the top floor, and it won't be for sale. The hotel will be on the lower floors, which will have separate entrances for guests and residents.

There will be a bar, an all-day dining restaurant, and two specialty restaurants at the hotel. It will also have a ballroom that is 8,000 square feet for meetings and parties. Gulshan Group will put up the money, and IHCL will run the hotel.

Officials said that the project is expected to draw wealthy buyers, such as families in Noida who want to move up to serviced apartments, people in South Delhi who are moving to Noida, MSME owners, logistics entrepreneurs, because of the new airport's location, and senior corporate executives.
