The NCRTC has finished the ₹15,000 crore DPR for the Namo Bharat RRTS, which will connect Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida

Work might start in December 2026 and last for around four and a half years. There will be two stations in Gurugram, two in Faridabad, and one each in Noida and G Noida along the corridor.

Gurugram: The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has finished the detailed project report (DPR) for the proposed Namo Bharat RRTS project. It will connect Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida for an estimated cost of ₹15,000 crore.

The 61-km corridor work is set to begin in December 2026 and finish in 4.5 years. Officials added that the corridor will contain two stations in Gurugram, two in Faridabad, one in Noida, and one in Greater Noida.

According to the DPR, the alignment will start at the IFFCO Chowk Namo Bharat station in Gurugram, which is where the Delhi–Bawal Namo Bharat RRTS corridor is supposed to start. It will then go east through Faridabad (Bata Chowk) and Noida (Sector-142) before joining up at the Surajpur Namo Bharat RRTS station in Greater Noida. Surajpur will also be the place where people may switch from Ghaziabad to Jewar, where Noida International Airport (NIA) is located.

The Namo Bharat train will leave the Iffco Chowk RRTS station, go through Millenium City Centre, and then go to Brig. Osman Chowk in Gurugram. From there, the train will turn east toward Gwal Pahari and then follow the Faridabad Gurugram Road (MDR-137) to get to Hanuman Mandir/Badkhal Enclave.

From there, it would go down Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg to Bata Chowk, where it will cross the road to get to the BPTP bridge. From here, the train will turn toward Amolik Chowk and then go to Amrita Hospital. It will then go east along the FNG expressway and into Noida near sector 168. The train will go east and into Greater Noida, where it will end at Surajpur Junction.

At first, this line will have 10 six-coach trains, each with 408 seats and a total carrying capacity of 1,928 passengers. The DPR thinks that the project will need 75 hectares of land.

Manohar Lal Khattar, the Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, stated at the HT Leadership Summit on Sunday that the government is focusing on the Namo Bharat corridors that will connect Delhi to Bawal, Delhi to Karnal, and Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida.

"We are aiming to speed up the mass transport projects that will connect Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida. This would help ease traffic and give people in the NCR better options for getting about. It will also make the air cleaner. "We're also trying to link the metro between Dwarka and Gurugram," he said.

In 2031, when the train starts running, it is expected that 3.84 lakh people will use this Namo Bharat route. This figure will rise to 8.53 lakh by 2054.
