Kalpataru plans to launch its IPO next week, targeting properties under ₹10 crore in MMR and Pune


Kalpataru, based in Mumbai, wants to focus on ₹1 crore to ₹10 crore homes and redevelopment projects in MMR and Pune during its IPO next week.

 

Kalpataru, a Mumbai-based real estate developer that plans to conduct its Initial Public Offering (IPO) next week, has announced that it will maintain its focus on important areas such asIt now operates projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, and Hyderabad.


The company thinks that the majority of housing demand falls within the ₹1 crore to ₹10 crore price range, which corresponds to their current inventory. Approximately 70% of the 50 million sq. ft. property is valued at up to ₹10 crore, with the remaining offered for less than ₹3 crore.


To prioritise redevelopment. Currently, demand spans from ₹1 crore to ₹10 crore, matching our supply. Moving forward, we will make the necessary changes to meet expectations. Kalpataru\'s managing director, Parag Munot, estimates that the majority of demand in Mumbai ranges from ₹1 crore to ₹10 crore.

 

"We also have redevelopment projects in our portfolio, and we are fairly thrilled about the redevelopment potential in MMR. "There is no doubt that the MMR and Pune sectors are highly developed, but we also see strength in Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru," Munot said.

Strong residential focus: housing makes up 95% of the company\'s assets, followed by MMR (73%).


In addition, the corporation has a significant presence in Mumbai\'s premium and luxury real estate markets. The residential sector accounts for over 95% of its portfolio, with 73% concentrated in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.. The company has completed over 120 group-level projects.
