Suraksha Group completes 7,913 units in Noida's Wish Town

Suraksha Group, which took over debt-ridden Jaypee Infratech Ltd in 2024, said it had completed construction of 7,913 flats in 84 towers at Noida’s Wish Town.

Suraksha Group, which purchased debt-ridden Jaypee Infratech Ltd (JIL) in 2024, on Friday said it had completed construction of 7,913 flats over 84 towers in Noida’s Wish Town complex and plans to deliver the remaining residences by 2028.

The business said it has also updated essential township infrastructure, including bettering power supply, bringing in Ganga water link and boosting community facilities.

“Of the 20,000 flats in 139 towers, construction has been completed in 84 towers comprising 7,913 units. “Occupancy certificates (OCs) have been issued for 42 towers and 4,213 flats. We have also applied for OCs for another 26 buildings totaling 2,229 flats,” said Suraksha Group CEO Abhijit Gohil.

Spread on sectors 128, 129, 131, 133 and 134 along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, Wish Town was developed by the Jaypee Group as an integrated township including residential developments, commercial spaces, schools, healthcare facilities and a golf course.

Structural audits have been completed for seven towers with 583 flats, Gohil added. Two towers have already got no-objection certificates (NOCs) and the rest of the towers are in the process of getting permissions. He said structural audits were also underway on a further nine towers with 888 flats.

He said the Ganga water supply has been extended to the sectors within Wish Town currently while 11 cluster clubs will be functioning by the end of the current financial year.

The corporation has also upgraded the township’s energy infrastructure to support the rising residential population. The load capacity of Grid Substation-I has been enhanced from 19.8 MVA to 35 MVA, while the capacity of Grid Substation-II is 9.7 MVA, officials stated.

The company has recently announced that it has obtained the registration for commercial development Wish Point in Sector 134 from the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).

JIL executive director Jash Panchamia said the group is focusing on finishing blocked projects while upgrading civic facilities around the township. “The issuance of occupancy certificates, augmentation of Ganga water supply, upgrading of power infrastructure and creation of community amenities are indicative of our dedication to provide a complete integrated township,” added Panchamia.

Thousands of homebuyers were waiting for possession for years and after years of delay, Suraksha Group took over Jaypee Infratech in June 2024 under the insolvency resolution procedure. Under the sanctioned resolution plan, the firm had agreed to deliver over 20,000 pending homes in several halted residential projects.
